About this opportunity
We are currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Care team at our Moran Stockton home, Newcastle. Above award rates: $43.05 - $51.20 base per hour.
Reporting to the Care Manager, you will provide quality nursing care and support to meet the changing clinical needs of residents. This includes consulting with residents and their families, staff, management, and other allied health professionals.
Working with a dedicated team, your contribution will enhance our residents’ quality of life every day. You will be supported and mentored to thrive in your role and to further develop your skills.

Key responsibilities:
* Developing and evaluating individualised resident care plans and completing assessments
* Providing clinical services such as wound management, medication management, and palliative care
* Liaising with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ families
* Collaborating with the Clinical Leadership team on complex clinical management
* Supervising and supporting Personal Care Workers
Skills/Requirements:
* Current Registration with AHPRA
* Caring and empathetic nature
* Effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders
* Strong leadership skills
* Good assessment and prioritisation skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team
* Proficient verbal and written communication skills
* Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
* Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
