Job Title: Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Care
Location: Oswestry
Salary: £46,150 – £63,650 per year (depending on experience, qualifications, and earned bonuses)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (with flexibility for additional hours as required)
Hourly Rate: Not specified
Number of Sleeps Required: Occasional (as part of on-call rota)
Pay Per Sleep: Additional sleep-in payments provided
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: Young People (YPs) aged 5–17 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
Qualifications Required:
* Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent) – essential
* Level 5 Leadership & Management / Level 4 Registered Manager Award – desirable
Experience in Years Required:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience working with children and young people in residential care
* Minimum 2 years at senior management level

* Lead and develop staff teams to achieve the highest standards of care
* Have strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, and safeguarding practices
* Be resilient, motivated, and committed to achieving positive outcomes for young people
* Be flexible to join the On-Call Manager rota and work additional hours when required
