Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a passionate Building Surveyor to join our dynamic Kier Design business. You’ll be part of a team that provides exceptional design and professional services across various sectors, serving both public and private clients.
Location:
Choose from one of our vibrant locations: Cambridge, Gerrards Cross, Lincoln, or Nottingham.
Working Hours:
Enjoy a flexible work schedule with 37.5 hours per week. We’re open to discussing hours that suit your lifestyle!
Salary:
Earn a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Your Responsibilities:
As a Building Surveyor, you will:
* Conduct thorough surveys of existing buildings and sites.
* Prepare detailed reports on building conditions, advising on repairs, maintenance, and potential improvements.
* Guide clients on health & safety, environmental sustainability, and compliance with planning and building regulations.
* Travel across the UK to perform site inspections and meet with clients and colleagues.
* Support clients in procuring contractors for various projects, including maintenance and refurbishment.
* Project manage the delivery of solutions, ensuring quality assurance and adherence to construction contracts.
* Foster positive relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Hold a Degree level qualification (minimum HNC/HND) in a relevant discipline or a RICS accredited qualification.
* Are working towards Chartered status through RICS or CIOB.
* Possess a solid foundation of knowledge and experience in building surveying across various sectors.
* Have familiarity with procurement processes and contract administration.
