About the Role
As they continue to grow, they are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Supply Chain & Procurement Executive to join their team and develop a career in automotive manufacturing and supply chain management. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to begin a career in supply chain, procurement, operations, or manufacturing. Working closely with senior management and production teams, you will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of procurement, supplier management, inventory control, and production planning.
Responsibilities
* Source components and materials required for vehicle production.
* Raise and manage purchase orders with suppliers.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management activities.
* Track supplier deliveries and ensure components arrive on time and to specification.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
* Support supplier negotiations and cost-saving initiatives.
* Work closely with the Production Manager to understand production requirements and priorities.
* Assist in forecasting demand and planning material requirements.
* Maintain accurate procurement and supplier records.
* Analyse purchasing and inventory data using Excel and internal systems.
* Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and performance.
* Support continuous improvement projects across procurement and operations.
Qualifications
* Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, or a related discipline.
Required Skills
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with data.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Full UK driving licence and ability to commute to our Warwickshire location.
Preferred Skills
* Previous internship, placement year, or work experience within procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or operations.
* Knowledge of inventory management principles.
* Interest in the automotive industry and performance vehicles.
* Experience using ERP, MRP, or purchasing systems.
Pay range and compensation package
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
