GSL Education are collaborating with schools across Sheffield (S35) to appoint a dedicated Computer Science Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and encourage curiosity in computing and technology. As a Computer Science Teacher (CS), you will design structured lessons that foster understanding of core computing concepts, promote an inclusive classroom environment, and develop students’ logical thinking and practical application skills. Prime Responsibilities: Deliver well-prepared lessons covering a range of computing topics. Support students in developing coding, analytical, and digital skills. Maintain a focused classroom using effective behaviour management strategies. Provide clear feedback to support student progress. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery. Track progress and maintain accurate assessment records. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Confident subject knowledge and experience delivering as a Computer Science Teacher. Strong communication and organisational skills. A commitment to supporting learners of different abilities. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A professional approach to safeguarding and school procedures.
