Thank you for your interest in the role of Maternity Cover Class Teacher at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School.

This role is temporary to cover maternity leave from 03.11.2025 until the end of the academic year, in which the postholder works as a Teacher in Year 3 & 4 (mixed age class).

* Two references including a judgement about suitability to work with children.
* A member of the interview panel will be trained in implementing Child Protection procedures.

* For teaching positions, barred list checks and prohibition from teaching checks will be carried out.
* For leadership positions, section 128 checks will be performed.
Responsibilities
* The role is to work as a Teacher in Year 3 & 4 (mixed age class) on a maternity cover basis.
