The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner / Reception Teaching Assistant to join the Reception team. The successful candidate will support children within the Early Years setting, helping to create a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum within the Reception class
* Work closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team
* Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing
* Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning activities
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding and classroom practice
* Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Skills & Experience Required
* Level 3 Early Years qualification preferred
* Candidates without a Level 3 qualification must have at least 1 year of Early Years experience within the UK
* Good understanding of the EYFS framework
* Experience working within a primary school or nursery setting
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
