A great opportunity has arisen for someone with experience of planning policy and/or development management who wants to develop their management skills. You will take a leading role in shaping the framework of planning policy for Bristol. The Planning Policy team is responsible for delivering the planning policy framework for Bristol, including at neighbourhood, local and strategic levels. We are also responsible for planning research and monitoring as well as managing the community infrastructure levy. We are seeking a team manager who will play a key role in shaping our new framework of local planning policy as we review the local plan alongside a new spatial development strategy. The post involves supervision and management of team members as well as project management of the local plan review.
Responsibilities
* Lead the shaping of Bristol's local planning policy framework during the local plan review and as part of a new spatial development strategy.
* Supervise and manage team members and oversee project management activities related to the local plan review.
* Contribute to planning policy development, research and monitoring, and the management of the community infrastructure levy.
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with experience in planning policy and/or development management and the ability to manage a team and deliver projects.
