Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator - Hackney Are you ready to lead and inspire as a SENCO in a vibrant, supportive school environment? Reeson Education are currently working with a highly regarded school in Hackney looking to appoint an experienced Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator who is passionate about making a difference. About the Role This Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator position involves leading SEND provision across the school Part-time class teaching is included alongside SENCO responsibilities Full-time position with opportunities to shape inclusive learning practices Based in a well-established, two-form entry school with a strong sense of communityResponsibilities Oversee and develop the school's SEND policy and provision as the Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator Support staff and lead on the identification and support of pupils with additional needs Liaise with external agencies, parents, and governors to ensure best outcomes for children Manage the SEND budget and maintain accurate records and documentationEssential Experience Qualified Teacher Status with a NASENCO qualification required for this Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator role Proven experience in SEND leadership within a school setting Strong communication and organisational skills A collaborative approach and commitment to inclusive educationBenefits Competitive salary between £44,236 and £52,300, reflecting the seniority of the Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator role Work within an outstanding school environment recognised by Ofsted Supportive and friendly staff team dedicated to professional growth Opportunities for ongoing training and leadership developmentThis Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator position offers a unique chance to develop your leadership skills within an outstanding Hackney school.
