Science Teacher – Secondary School Supply CoverLocation: DudleyContract Type: Temporary / SupplyDuration: Day-to-Day and Short-Term Block Bookings AvailablePay: £170–£250 per day depending on experience and responsibilities
We are currently recruiting a qualified Science Teacher to support a secondary school across Dudley with day-to-day supply cover and short-term block bookings.
Opportunities are available immediately for enthusiastic and adaptable teachers who can confidently deliver Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
This role is ideal for teachers looking for flexibility, work-life balance or varied experience across different school settings.
Responsibilities:• Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons in line with school policies• Teach general Science across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities for Biology, Chemistry and Physics specialists• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment• Follow lesson plans provided by the school and ensure continuity of learning• Mark work where required during short-term placements• Build positive relationships with students and staff
Requirements:• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification• Experience teaching Science within UK secondary schools• Strong classroom management skills• Flexible, reliable and professional approach• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
