The role
We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Director to join our growing team, covering the South of England. This is a senior, client-facing role responsible for driving new business and managing key relationships across the region.
The successful candidate will take ownership of their regional territory, developing introducer networks and originating high-quality deals, while contributing to overall sales strategy and performance.
Duties and responsibilities
· Develop and manage relationships with third-party introducers and end-user customers across the region
· Originate, structure and progress new business opportunities through to completion
· Maintain CRM databases for contact management, pipeline tracking, and follow-up activity
· Assess and formulate credit proposals, preparing complete information packs for underwriting
· Collate documentation for pay-out packs
· Develop a strong understanding of credit policy and its application
· Ensure all deal administration is compliant with regulatory requirements and internal standards
· Consistently deliver against individual sales targets and regional performance objectives
· Provide input into regional sales strategy and market development
· Deliver a high-quality, consistent customer experience
Required experience
· Proven experience in a business development or senior sales role
· Experience within asset finance or asset-based lending
· Strong track record of originating and closing deals
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
· Commercially aware with good numerical and analytical ability
· Highly organised with strong attention to detail
· Sales-driven and customer-focused
· Strong interpersonal skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels
· Proactive and results-oriented approach
· Ability to deliver high-quality outputs within agreed timescales
· Full UK driving licence
