You’ll be joining a well‑established civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation across highways, public realm and infrastructure works. Known for deliveringplex schemes for local authorities and major clients, they continue to secure a healthy pipeline of work and are now strengthening theirmercial team with an experienced Estimator.Your new role
As the Estimator, you’ll take ownership of pricing a range of civil engineering projects including highways improvements, streetscape upgrades, public realm enhancements and associated infrastructure. You’ll prepare accurate cost estimates, analyse tender documentation, liaise with operational teams, and use Candy to produce detailed andpetitive submissions. You’ll play a key role in winning work and supporting the continued growth of the business.What you’ll need to succeed
1. Strong estimating experience within civil engineering, ideally highways, public realm or water
2. Proficiency using Candy software
3. Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and bills of quantities
4. Amercially astute mindset with excellent attention to detail
5. Strongmunication skills and confidence working with internal teams and external stakeholders
