Overview:
We’re looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Service Desk Engineer to deliver first-line technical support while managing IT hardware inventory. Based in Guernsey with hybrid working, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth IT operations, support delivery, and compliance.
Role & Responsibilities:
Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and office network issues
Respond to support tickets via phone, email, or in person
Escalate complex issues as needed and update the IT knowledge base
Ensure IT security compliance (ISO/SOX) and follow user onboarding/offboarding processes (JML)
Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and stock levels
Receive, inspect, and log new IT equipmentRequirements:
3–5 years' experience in an IT support role
Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field (A+, N+, AZ-900, or MS-900 desirable)
Proficiency with Windows, macOS, Azure, Intune, and basic networking
Experience with IT asset management tools and ticketing systems
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skillsPackage / Benefits:
