Are you passionate about empowering people with learning disabilities to live full and connected lives in their community? We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Outreach Support Worker to join our friendly team in Bicester, Oxford.
This is a rewarding role where you’ll support individuals to access community opportunities, maintain independence, and enjoy meaningful experiences.
🧠 About the Role
As an Outreach Support Worker, you’ll:

Support individuals to attend medical appointments, day centres, and group activities
*
Promote engagement in the community through trips to the cinema, bowling, walks, cafés, and local events
*
Encourage choice, confidence, and social interaction
*
Provide support with travel, mobility, and personal care (as needed)
*
Record outcomes and promote safeguarding and well-being
*
Foster independence and advocate for inclusion and equality

A caring, patient, and proactive personality

Experience working with people with learning disabilities or transferable skills from a similar support role
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
*
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including daytime, some evenings, or weekends
