As Senior Internal Communications Officer at Salford City Council, you will lead the strategic approach to internal communication across the organisation, shaping how we engage, inform and connect with more than 4,500 colleagues working across desk based, frontline and essential service roles. You will work closely with the Head of Communications, Corporate Management Team and senior leaders to provide expert internal communications advice and leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring that internal communications are clear, inclusive and aligned to the council's priorities, values and culture, using a blend of digital channels, face to face engagement and creative storytelling. This role plays a critical part in supporting organisational change and transformation, ensuring that colleagues understand key decisions, feel part of a shared mission and have the information they need to deliver for Salford's residents.
