Exciting Opportunity: Experienced Site Planner – Drive Project Success from Concept to Completion
Join our dynamic team as a Site Planner and be at the forefront of delivering complex projects within the Petrochemical, Power, and Process Industries. In this pivotal role, you'll develop, operate, and monitor comprehensive contract programmes, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with safety and quality standards. Your expertise will facilitate seamless coordination across teams and clients, directly impacting the efficiency and success of high-stakes initiatives.
What You'll Need:
* Proven experience as a Planning Engineer or similar role in petrochemical, power, or process industries
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Excel for developing and maintaining project schedules
* Ability to produce feasible programmes based on scope of work and to incorporate emergent works effectively
* Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and report contract progress accurately
* Capable of analyzing Earned Value Performance to monitor project health
* Adept at identifying critical path deviations and advising corrective actions
* Skilled in resource allocation and programme variation management
* Awareness of technical, safety, quality, and cost considerations impacting planning
Nice to Have Skills:
* Experience with other planning software or tools
* Familiarity with developing resource requirements and project baselining
* Additional certifications such as WIMS, APMP Practitioner, or CPD training
* Knowledge of the technical interfaces within petrochemical and power sectors
Preferred Education & Experience:
* Relevant HNC or Degree in engineering or planning discipline
* Planning CPD training and recognised certification (e.g., APMP Practitioner)
* Minimum of [insert specific years] of planning experience in relevant sectors
* Demonstrated ability to produce and update detailed project programmes, including emergent works
Other Requirements:
* Relevant safety certifications such as CCNSG
* Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
