Role Overview: The Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of the school office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling data, managing attendance records, and providing general administrative support across various school functions. Key Responsibilities: Data Management: Ensure accurate input, maintenance, and reporting of student data, including personal details, academic progress, and other confidential records. Attendance Management: Monitor, record, and track student attendance, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and school policies. General Office Duties: Handle phone calls, emails, and general inquiries. Assist with filing, photocopying, and other office tasks. Communication: Support communication between staff, students, and parents regarding attendance, events, and important updates. Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date student files and records in accordance with school policy. Support Administration: Provide administrative support to teaching and non-teaching staff, including organizing meetings, preparing documents, and coordinating schedules. Skills and Experience: Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a school or educational environment. Strong knowledge of data management systems and the ability to work with spreadsheets and databases. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling attendance records and confidential information. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A proactive and friendly approach, with a commitment to providing excellent service to staff, students, and parents. Desirable Qualifications: Experience with school management software (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, etc.) is a plus. A background in education or working with children would be advantageous.
