An exciting position has become available for a Band 4 Associate Practitioner to join the Mental Health Team in HMP Durham.
Main duties of the job
This role supports the planned care pathway within the team. The successful candidate will work as a lead professional, managing their own caseload of patients, delivering psychological interventions within their scope of practice on a 1-1 and group basis.
The candidate will also take a lead role in group delivery and coordination.
We provide clinical caseload management, supervision, a thorough induction, and extensive training opportunities relevant to the role.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care
* Literacy, numeracy, and ITQ Level 2 (or equivalent)
Experience
* Experience working with individuals with mental health, social needs, or learning disabilities
* Experience as a Band 2/3 HCA or similar in care settings
Knowledge

* Current evidence-based practices
* Legal frameworks, including Mental Health legislation
