Are you an experienced KS1 Teacher who is looking for a fantastic opportunity to join a new classroom in Banbury?
An 'Outstanding' mainstream primary school in Banbury is seeking a new Year 1 Class Teacher to join their team from January 2026. The role is open to teachers who can demonstrate previous experience within a KS1 Classroom and hold UK QTS. The school is two-form entry so comes with the opportunity for shared responsibilities between other Year 1 classrooms.
Responsibilities
* Encourage a love for learning within the classroom
* Monitor progress and set targets in accordance to individual pupil's abilities
* Act as a positive role model for every child
* Have an in-depth understanding of KS1 curriculum
* Collaborate with other KS1 Teachers, share planning, maintain curriculum teaching and understanding
Qualifications
The school identifies that success and progress looks different to each child and therefore the ideal candidate will be someone who shares similar values. For the ideal candidate, opportunities for middle leadership and extra responsibilities will be available should they be desired. The role requires UK QTS and KS1 classroom experience.
