What the role involves
1. Build the vision and brand message for the practice, and deliver outstanding customer service experiences
2. Lead a dedicated team with the day to day running and management of the practice, both clinical and non clinical
3. Achieve key deliverables including business growth targets, managing budgets (including profit and loss) and all operational aspects
4. Excellent working relationships with clinicians, Dentex support centre, suppliers, and NHS contractors
5. Recruitment, onboarding and people management of practice staff such as identifying staff development and training needs
6. Regular team meetings and staff performance reviews
7. Provide support and direction to enhance performance, skills, and knowledge of practice staff
8. Maintenance and marketing of the practice within set budgets
9. Day to day management of CQC activities
10. Competent in health and safety management, and dental compliance
11. Ad hoc receptionist and nursing duties, GDC registered
12. Any other ad hoc responsibilities as reasonably requested

15. Excellent communication skills

17. Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, keeping patient satisfaction in mind
18. Friendly and welcoming manner
19. Teamwork orientated with an enthusiastic attitude
20. GDC registered
21. CQC registered (Training provided for those who aren't)
22. Excellent knowledge of CQC and compliance
23. Proficient user of the requisite dental software and Microsoft package
