The CDCs will open over a 7 day week and the post holder must be prepared to work on a rota that will incorporate weekend working. The post holder will be expected to work across both CDC sites at James Paget and Northgate to support staffing and rota’s. Detailed job description and main responsibilities · To visually check the overall cleanliness of the Community Diagnostic Centre under the direction of the Community Diagnostic Centre Business Support Manager, monitoring the cleaning specification and maintenance schedule taking remedial action as appropriate. · To liaise with the Domestic staff to ensure the staff rest room and all associated equipment is clean. · To alert the Community Diagnostic Centre Management team to any areas of concern. · To ensure areas are clean and clutter free. E.g. wiping down the seats within the patient waiting area. · To ensure supplies cupboard is tidy and stock levels are adequate taking remedial action and advising the service leads as appropriate. Ensuring that equipment in use is within expiry dates. · To collect and deliver equipment and test results from other areas of hospital as required. · To collect and deliver medication and drug charts from Pharmacy as appropriate. · To be confident in the use of Trust equipment ordering systems, and types of and amount of required stock for the department. · To work with relevant staff to ensure that all stock and equipment is in good working order, escalating concerns to the service lead or Community Diagnostic Centre Management Team. · Work closely with the wider services within the Community Diagnostic Centre to ensure they are aware of the correct processes to follow for waste disposal, stock ordering, and stock distribution. · To support the Community Diagnostic Centre Management Team as requested.
