A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proactive and experienced Premises Manager to join one of Middlesbrough’s leading secondary schools ASAP. This is a full-time, permanent position within a well-resourced and forward-thinking Estates Team. • Premises Manager required – full-time, permanent • Outstanding 11–18 school in Middlesbrough • ASAP start • Competitive salary and benefits About the Role The successful candidate will oversee the daily management and maintenance of the school’s site, buildings, and facilities. You will manage a small team of site staff, coordinate maintenance schedules, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. You will also support school events, ensuring the site is safe and ready for both academic and extracurricular activities. Key responsibilities include: • Supervising site staff and coordinating daily tasks • Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and statutory requirements • Managing contractors and maintenance projects • Supporting school events and activities • Monitoring and maintaining building systems and grounds Experience and Qualifications • Experience in site management, premises supervision, or caretaking • Practical knowledge of building maintenance, security, and health & safety procedures • Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills • Ability to work independently and lead a small team • Professional, proactive, and approachable School Information This Outstanding secondary school in Middlesbrough is recognised for academic excellence, strong pastoral support, and high standards of site management.
