Job Title: Electrical Panel Assembly TechnicianSalary: Up to £32,500 per annumJob Type: Full-TimeLocation: Widnes
About the Role:An established and forward-thinking engineering business is looking for a skilled Electrical Panel Assembly Technician to join its production department. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a solid background in electrical assembly and control panel wiring.
Main Duties:
* Assemble and wire control panels to specification
* Interpret and work from electrical diagrams and technical drawings
* Carry out cable routing, crimping, looming, and termination
* Perform basic mechanical tasks such as marking out, drilling, and fitting components
* Occasionally solder electrical components as required
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Strong understanding of electrical schematics and wiring standards
* Practical experience with panel wiring, component mounting, and electrical assembly
* Competent in using hand tools for cable preparation and assembly tasks
* Familiarity with motor control systems would be advantageous
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
* Relevant vocational qualification (e.g., City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or similar)
* Proven experience in a similar environment
