Job Details
* Contract Type: 2 x Permanent
* Salary: FC6 £30,691.29 - £33,732.26 (Pro-Rata)
* Working Pattern: 18 hours per week
* Locations: Fife House, Glenrothes or Town House, Kirkcaldy
Responsibilities
* Carry your own caseload of adults of all ages and work with them in their home settings.
* Perform assessments to identify appropriate interventions to enable people to be as independent and safe as possible in everyday tasks.
* Provide recommendations and instruction in the safe use of assistive equipment and minor adaptations.
* Organise your own workload; loan working is intrinsic to the role; complete accurate and timely documentation.
* Be part of the team duty rota to screen and prioritise requests for assessment.
* Receive specific support and regular supervision from an Occupational Therapist in the team; Occupational Therapy Assistants are valued in the team.
* Note there is flexibility for some work to be carried out at home.

* Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme prior to appointment.

* We are holding a Fife Council jobs fair on Wednesday 8 October from 10am – 2pm at the Glen Pavilion in Dunfermline.
* There is flexibility for blended home/office working, with office access days each week and homeworking for the remainder of your time.
