Sutton Recruitment are delighted to be working on this local opportunity with a reputable manufacturing business to recruit a Project Manager.
Our client is one that is stepped in value and professionalism ensuring dedication to the detail and creating a quality product.
A market leader in their field, currently holding a large order book, with major investments to support further increases within their market share and competitiveness.
Due to the major investments, an opportunity for an experienced professional with the ability to manage a multi-talented technical team to consistently deliver on business wide projects with both short and long term project targets.
You will manage a small team and have the responsibility for developing new products from concept through first production and provide technical experience, advice and guidance on multiple projects.
Key responsibilities of the Project Manager role include:
•Planning of all new projects
•Monitoring and reporting on project status, identify and address areas of concern
•Ensure all tasks contributing to projects are met with agreed timescales and project plans
•Clear communication and time management within the team to balance the requirements of projects alongside update of technical data providing accurate information for manufacture
•Monitor and reporting of status updates through change management and looking to identify potential opportunities to improve those systems
Key skills and experience preferred to fulfil the Project Manager role:
The role requires a proactive leader who can support, manage, and develop a strong technical team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to report on status of various deliverables, manage expectations and to build a team ethic. They will be able to independently identify skills gaps and go on to develop people and systems to fill those gaps.
