Are you a caring and enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting babies and toddlers in their early development? A warm and welcoming nursery in Heaton is seeking a Nursery Assistant to join their team in the 6–18 month old room.

Position: Full-Time – Nursery Assistant (6–18 Month Old Room)
About the Role:
* Support the care, development, and wellbeing of children aged 6–18 months
* Assist with daily routines, including feeding, nappy changes, sleep times, and play activities
* Help create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for babies and toddlers
* Engage children in sensory and developmental activities aligned with the EYFS framework
* Work closely with the room leader and wider nursery team
* Build warm, trusting relationships with children and their families
What We’re Looking For:
* A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years (or working towards one)
* Experience working with babies or toddlers in a nursery or childcare setting
* A gentle, responsive, and child-focused approach
* Good knowledge of EYFS for children under two, and understanding of safeguarding procedures
* Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
