and main responsibilities
1. Staff who provide basic care and support to patients in various settings
2. Responsible for tasks such as hygiene, mobility, feeding, observations, and medication
3. Involved in keeping the environment and equipment clean and safe
4. Part of the wider healthcare team that includes nurses, doctors, and other professionals
5. Taking patients observations such as blood pressure, temperature, oxygen saturations and pulse.
6. Helping patients with meal times and feeding.

7. Good standard of numeracy and literacy

10. Understanding of basic physiology e.g. normal vital signs, fluid balance, nutritional requirements etc
