Overview
Impact Food Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of schools. This is a field-based role requiring travel to support teams in the business.
Responsibilities
* Manage, inspire, and engage our teams across multiple sites.
* Meet with clients to build strong, professional relationships with internal and external individuals, service providers, suppliers, and businesses.
* Demonstrate passion and knowledge of great contemporary fresh food and service.
* Deliver exceptional senior management operations in a contract catering environment for a range of senior clients with high standards.
* Demonstrate strong motivation and a lead-by-example approach.
* Deliver financial management skills—commercial and fixed price.
What you can bring
* Experience as an Area Manager/Operations Manager within Education contract catering is desirable; candidates from Education, Business & Industry or retail catering with management of at least 8 sites will be considered.
* Day-to-day management and guidance of chef managers, including client relationships and HR matters.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, from kitchen staff to the board room.
* Self-motivated, resilient, highly organized, and able to prioritise effectively.
* Proficiency with Office suite and ability to produce spreadsheets and presentations to demonstrate performance.
