About the Role
The Level 5 Operating Theatres at The Royal Sussex County Hospital are seeking motivated individuals to support Major Elective, Trauma, Emergency Surgery, and 24-hour Obstetric cover in the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU)/Recovery ward.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for enthusiastic nurses/ODPs with a passion for high standards of care. Previous recovery experience, acute surgery, HDU/ITU experience are desirable.
Training and Development
You will be supported through an internal training program covering all aspects of recovery care. The Trust’s partnership with Brighton University facilitates access to courses and personal development opportunities.
Work Environment
As part of a busy team, you will maintain your skills across various specialties, with the department providing 24-hour emergency coverage.
