2-3 Months Contract with a Local Authority
Summary
* This role involves designing and delivering high-quality learning and development opportunities for social care workforce and partners. The aim is to equip them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and confidence to provide excellent care and meet regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and inclusive training sessions across various social care topics for both children’s and adults’ services.
* Support the embedding of new learning approaches through planned and informal sessions.
* Facilitate training using multiple platforms, including face-to-face, digital, and e-learning.
* Collaborate with Workforce Development Officers and Training Organisers to meet service needs.
* Assist with organising training events, including booking venues and maintaining attendance records.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion principles in all training delivery.
* Support the development of essential skills (literacy, numeracy, ICT) within the social care workforce.
* Contribute to data collection and reporting on training activities.
Essential Experience Required
* Experience working in frontline social care or health settings.
* Proven experience delivering training or facilitating learning sessions.
Essential Qualifications Required
* Recognised training qualification (e.g., PTLLS, AET, or equivalent).
Additional Information
* Working hours: 18.50 hours per week
* Enhanced with Both Children/Adults Barred List Checks is required.
