Job Advert Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Fleet Technician in the Fleet Services Department.
Please note that the base location for this role is Carmarthen Headquarters. This role is also being advertised as a separate vacancy in Newtown. Please ensure that you submit an application against the correct location you wish to be considered for.
What you will be doing?
To service, repair, diagnose and commission Fleet vehicles in an efficient and timely manner, supporting operational policing and
departmental requirements.
Role Specific Tasks:
1. To service and repair Force vehicles to meet MOT and Dyfed Powys Police standards.
2. To fabricate and repair vehicles and install specialist electronic equipment to meet operational requirements.
3. To commission and decommission vehicles so the Fleet standards are maintained.
