The home is surrounded by the Somerset countryside with links to the major towns of Bristol, Bath and Taunton. Glastonbury is a lovely vibrant town with lots of attractions, making this an ideal work base for those who like adventure – as do the people we support.
Role Overview
As a Deputy Care Manager, your role will be split into office administrative work and hands‑on Support Worker shifts. This is an opportunity to work alongside the Registered Care Manager to help run the home. Shifts are varied across seven days and include regular sleep‑ins.
Responsibilities
* Support the manager in providing line management support to a team of staff.
* Creating and maintaining safe working environments in which staff can fulfil their duties.
* Contributing to the wider planning and delivery of services within the Operational Services.
* Conduct regular supervisions.
* Plan and manage the rota.
* Deliver services to KPIs set within the Operational Services.
