This role is based within Esh Living’s new build housing division which delivers medium-to-large-scale affordable housing developments, as well as multi-apartment retirement living and extra care developments. This division takes projects from the early stages of development, through pre-construction, technical and on-site delivery. About the role: We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the day-to-day engineering and construction activities across a range of schemes. Working closely with the Site Agent or Project Manager, you’ll help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. From refurbishments to large-scale redevelopments, you’ll play a key role in maintaining programme, budget, and quality—while upholding our commitment to Health & Safety and customer satisfaction. Location: Based at Leeds, but overseeing works currently at Pinfold Lane, Bridlington What we will expect from you: Ensure the delivery of projects to agreed timescales Ensure the delivery of projects are within budget requirements Ensure the delivery of projects to an exceptional quality standard Ensure H&S on site is adhered to at all times Plan and coordinate resources to ensure site runs effectively and efficiently Plan and coordinate all work for subcontractors Feedback regularly to Contracts Manager on New Build matters Submit weekly timesheets to payroll – where applicable Ensure site employees are appropriately trained It is not possible for this document to totally encompass or define all tasks that may be required of the post holder.
