Position Summary
As part of the Parker Corporate Cyber Security team, this role supports the Parker global network and is responsible for implementing and maintaining security solutions that preserve the integrity of the network. The position works closely with business units, internal teams, and key partners to deliver cyber security solutions that meet customer needs and protect the Parker network from cyber threats. Continuous improvement and innovation of current security technology and solutions are essential aspects of this position.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the global firewall environment – system updates, critical vulnerability resolution, and standards maintenance
* Supporting network segmentation initiatives across Macro, Micro, OT, and IoT environments
* Supporting acquisition integration activities
* Assisting remote divisions with daily operational requests
* Researching and enhancing the existing portfolio to leverage new features
* Identifying opportunities for improvement within existing technologies
* Managing projects across teams, engaging project team members and division staff
* Following the Change Management process to plan, communicate, and document all changes
* Contributing to cyber security teams to influence projects and programs
* Participating in Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) activities
Qualifications
* Degree in Computer Science or a related field required
* 1+ years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on network and/or network security preferred
* 1+ years of experience working in a global company preferred
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
* A strong desire to work and grow in a cyber security career
