Adi Mechanical Fabrications & Pipework Business Development Manager
About the Role
As a Business Development Manager for Mechanical Fabrications & Pipework you will report into the Managing Director.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of:
1. Developing new business and account managing current mechanical customers.
2. Working with clients within the FMCG, Food & Chemical manufacturing area, discussing opportunities regarding fabrication, mechanical projects and pipework installations.
3. Estimating and quoting for work and dealing with technical queries.
4. Creating and managing a business strategies.
5. Working with the Project & Design team on projects and understanding technical queries.
6. Creating and developing a business development and marketing plans to increase revenue within the mechanical division.
7. Responsibility for the complete sales process including lead generation, capture planning, solution creation, proposal writing and contract negotiations.
8. Creation of sales presentation material and commercial proposals as well as contributing to new service introduction initiatives.
9. Seeking and understanding competitors', their offerings and technologies, assessment of their strengths and weaknesses, define their pricing structure.
10. Producing regular reports and business updates as requested.
About You
We would like to hear from you if you have:
11. To be trained within Mechanical Engineering with a strong understanding of fabrication, welding and pipework.
12. To have a strong knowledge of the FMCG & Food manufacturing sector, with contacts within the industry.
13. The ability to create and develop business development strategies and quotations for new projects.
14. An understanding of the sales cycle and account management.
15. Be entrepreneurial
16. Be positive thinking and self-motivated individual with good communication skills
