We’re looking for a hands-on Yard Operative to join a busy and well-established company in the plant and site accommodation sector. This role is key to keeping the yard running smoothly and maintaining the quality and presentation of the company’s equipment and containers.
Key Responsibilities of the Yard Operative:

Cleaning, washing, and painting site accommodation units, containers, and plant equipment
*
Organising and maintaining a tidy, safe, and efficient yard
*
Assisting with stock checks and general yard administration
*
Supporting the team with moving and storing equipment as needed
*
Reporting any damage or maintenance issues to supervisors
*
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with Health & Safety policies
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
*
Full UK driving license with no more than 3 points
*
Hands-on, practical approach with attention to detail
*
Reliable and punctual
*
Physically capable of working outdoors and handling equipment
*
Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
Desirable:
*
Mechanical background
*
Experience as a Yard Operative - in a yard, warehouse, or site environment
*
Basic DIY or painting skills
