APAC is a family run business operating in the floristry, party, wedding, horticultural and gift industries. We operate a central distribution centre and Head Office in Rothley, Leicester; as well as 21 wholesale cash and carries nationwide trading under the name of Whittingtons and Country Baskets. We are a fast paced rapidly growing company and amongst the largest in our industry in the UK.

We are now looking for an experienced Key Account Administrator to join our friendly Horticulture Team on a full-time basis.

The team manages some of our most high-profile key accounts and therefore the successful candidate will need a high level of attention to detail and have the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

This role would suit a strong team player who is efficient and able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines as well as well as be willing to assist all areas of the department when required.

Duties will include:

* Report to and provide support for head of department
* Liaise with and provide support for some of the company's key accounts, including some well-known National store chains
* Enter and process sales orders on our bespoke Caliq system
* Liaise with suppliers – often in China, to obtain product information, progress purchase orders and shipping
* Ensure customers are kept up to date through regular communication
* Ensure records are maintained in order to comply with accrediting bodies and major customers' requirements
* Document control – uploading documents to our system and ensuring records are up to date
* Producing costing sheets and customer quotations

Skills required include:

Essential

* Excellent Microsoft excel skills
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Ability to communication at all levels
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office
* Ability to prioritise a busy workload and manage own time
* Experience working with key accounts

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 9am - 5.30pm and Friday 9am - 5pm (37 per week)
