Salary: £29,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements: Expertise in Cisco ISE, ASA, Meraki, and Umbrella Skills in Cisco switches and routers and Meraki devices Proficiency in maintenance and firmware upgrades Knowledge of Infrastructure Security, network management tools, MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN, and routing protocols Familiarity with data, network, and transport layers of communication or networking systems, IPV4/6, TCP, and other emerging protocols Strong communication and customer service skills Experience with network performance analysis and troubleshooting Ability to work collaboratively within a team Availability for 24-hour call-out rota Responsibilities: Act as the primary contact for customers and internal stakeholders regarding Corporate LAN Network Collaborate with the engineering team to provide technical solutions and design architecture Resolve escalated problems, maintaining communication with internal teams and ensuring customer satisfaction Document Service Requests using Remedy system Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours support Maintain current knowledge of products and technology Escalate product defects to relevant divisions or third parties Attend and participate in customer meetings Build and nurture customer relationships and manage conflict resolution Advocate for customers during system outages and prioritization of issues Ensure compliance with service KPIs to maintain customer satisfaction Facilitate communication between Technical Support team, NOC, and customers Conduct proactive maintenance to avoid network issues/outages Analyze network performance to resolve service-related issues Manage and execute service migration plans, network upgrades, and retrofits Monitor operational configurations to prevent known issues Analyze event data for trends indicating performance degradation Support the Problem Resolution Manager with trend analysis Attend National Highways Corporate sites as required Participate in special projects or process ownership as directed by management Technologies: Cisco Firmware Support LAN MPLS Network Security VPN Architect More: At Telent Technology Services Limited, we are proud to be a leading technology company dedicated to advancing the UKs critical digital infrastructure.
