We have an exciting new vacancy for a Receptionist to join our team at The Basingstoke Country Hotel. The Basingstoke Country Hotel is a 100 bedroom-hotel that boasts a stylish Brasserie, offering casual dining and food for the whole family. The Hotel has 5 conference rooms catering for between 25 to 240 delegates providing for various events and wedding functions.

Your duties will include:
* Welcoming guests and checking guests in and out on front of house system
* Advising guests and visitors of the hotels facilities.
* Being the point of contact for our guests during their stay
* Answering the telephone, making reservations, taking payments, reconciling the shift and balancing floats.
The successful candidate will be organised, punctual and well-presented, with excellent communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of Opera would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be given.
