Primary School Sport Coach
West Midlands
Full-Time/Monday to Friday role
Up to £25,396.80 (dependent on age, qualifications and experience)
We are working with an award winning delivery andtrainingproviders of physical activity programmes for children and young people, who's mission is toget 1 million children active by 2025!
This role offers achance to change children’s lives and contribute to the company vision ofending physical inactivity forever! If successful, you will be employed to deliver educationprogrammes across primary schools in the West Midlands during school term-time and sports and physical activity sessions to children and young people during school holiday periods.
The organisation are looking for an experienced Primary School Sports Coach who is a strongadvocate for child and youth engagement in sports and physical education. You will be expected to be a continuous learner with a desire to improve and better yourself and those around you, to bring outstanding communication skills to build, maintain and develop strong relationships with all stakeholders, be highly organised in all aspects of your work,
The role also requires travel and potential last-minute changes to schedules depending on the needs of the business.
What you will be doing:
* Design, execute and assess comprehensive Physical Education (PE) and Physical Activity programs, ensuring they adhere to high-quality standards and providing an enjoyable experience for children.
* Diligently maintain accurate planning and attendance documentation for each session.
* Employ advanced mentoring techniques to implement the Physical Education Curriculum Support program for primary school teachers.
* Systematically gather and manage participant data for the individuals you mentor, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
* Proactively identify and address obstacles to children's participation, with a focus on accessibility and inclusivity.
* Effectively manage children's behaviour to maintain positive learning environments.
* Perform all duties in compliance with the organisation's policies, including those about equal opportunities, safeguarding and health and safety.
You will ideally have at least one ofthe followingqualifications:
* Level 3 Diploma in Supporting the Delivery of PE and School Sport
* Level 2 Award in Multi-Skills Development or relevant NGB Level 2
* Competent in literacy and numeracy to Level 2
* Paediatric First Aid
* Education and Training Award Level 3
* Level 4 Sports Coach
