We are looking for graduates for our Building Services teams, who have a flexible approach and appetite for learning. You will enjoy working collaboratively with a diverse range of clients and projects.

A little bit more about your role and the team…
Working as a graduate in one of our Building Services teams means working on exciting and innovative projects including large office buildings, hospitals, hotels, residential complexes, data centres, and education buildings.
The role of a Building Services Engineer involves designing, developing, and maintaining essential building systems to ensure functionality, safety, and comfort. You will be embedded in multidisciplinary teams and mentored, gaining exposure to real‑world challenges.

* High‑scale Data Centres
* Heathrow & Gatwick Airport enhancements
Building Services Teams
Our teams design people‑centric, high‑performance buildings, working closely with clients to understand project goals and deliver robust solutions.
We cover offices, retail, museums, education, labs, data centres, healthcare, transport hubs, and industrial facilities.
Day‑to‑day Activities Could Include:
* Collaborating with external stakeholders
* Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance
* Drafting mechanical or electrical layouts using Revit or AutoCAD and running calculations
* Reviewing technical drawings and coordinating with other disciplines
* Supporting senior engineers in preparing tender documents
* Attending site visits to observe installations or conduct surveys
* Participating in sustainability assessments (e.g., BREEM)
Smart Buildings
Our Smart Buildings team develops integrated technologies across MEP, security, lighting, ICT, and AV to deliver award‑winning projects.
Day‑to‑day Activities Could Include:
* Collaborating with specialists to develop Smart Buildings solutions
* Gathering requirements from stakeholders and defining outcomes
* Designing and specifying technology implementation and documentation
* Presenting work to clients and internal stakeholders
Energy & Sustainability
Our Energy & Sustainability Engineers assess building energy use and carbon emissions, advising on reduction strategies and lifecycle assessments.
Day‑to‑day Activities Could Include:
* Developing simulation models to assess EUI and occupant comfort
* Implementing energy‑saving technologies and coordinating with the design team
* Calculating Whole Life Carbon impacts and identifying reduction opportunities
* Incorporating Circular Economy principles into design
* Reviewing regulatory requirements and sustainability criteria
* Assessing climate‑change risks to building performance
Future projects include Heathrow and Gatwick expansion plans and other high‑impact healthcare and sports facilities.
You will join an enthusiastic, supportive team, handling stakeholder engagement and adapting to dynamic project environments.
Graduate Development Programme
The programme spans two years, providing blended learning, core business and professional skills training, workshops, networking, mentoring, and professional registration support. You will be encouraged to achieve chartered status with professional bodies such as IMechE and IET.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate
* Graduated with at least a 2:2 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree relevant to the role
* A passion for Building Services or Technology Systems
* A desire to shape the future of the built world
* Strong research, learning, and analytical skills related to technologies and processes
* Awareness of specialist building systems, including lighting and security
* Enthusiasm for creativity and problem solving
* Ability to inspire others and share new ideas
