Warehouse Operative

Location: East Midlands Airport
Pay Rate: £13.35 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00



About the Role


We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative based at East Midlands Airport. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.



Key Responsibilities

* Stripping down pallets and preparing goods for processing.
* Scanning products and freight using warehouse scanning equipment.
* Restacking pallets accurately and securely.
* Wrapping completed pallets ready for storage or distribution.
* Ensuring all goods are handled safely and in line with operational procedures.
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
* Following all health and safety regulations at all times.


Requirements

* Ability to carry out manual handling duties throughout the shift.
* Comfortable working in a physically intensive warehouse environment.
* Good attention to detail and accuracy when scanning and handling goods.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
* Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
* Able to pass a 5-year background check & DBS.
