You will play a key part in the day to day within the department. The roles purpose is to carry out Quality Engineering and defect investigations in support of various Quality team’s KPI’s and Processes, in the support of production, customer service and Zero Defect.
Location: Hastings
Your new role:
1. Monitoring product life cycle processes and products for adherence to company and regulatory standards and practices; participating in quality improvement initiatives and projects
2. To assist in shop floor (Assembly) Material Review Board.
3. Ensure that Customer (both internal and external) quality queries are dealt with promptly, efficiently and professionally.
4. To take ownership of quality assurance issues affecting TE product.
5. To maintain quality documentation in a neat and methodical manner, both in paper copy and or electronically.
6. To conduct 8D defect investigations and present written preventive and corrective actions to TE company standard.
7. To review the quality/effectiveness of 8D’s and that Corrective Actions are implemented.
