Senior Engineer – Infrastructure & Civil Engineering
A leading contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to support the delivery of major infrastructure projects. This Senior Engineer role offers the opportunity to work on complex schemes while leading engineering teams and contributing to successful project delivery.
The successful Senior Engineer will provide technical expertise, support site management teams and ensure all engineering activities are completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Site Engineers across multiple work fronts.
- Support Site Agents and project teams with daily operational requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering challenges.
- Ensure quality standards and specifications are achieved throughout construction.
- Maintain setting out control and dimensional accuracy.
- Review drawings, specifications and technical information.
- Promote health, safety, environmental and quality best practice.
- Support planning and coordination activities across the project.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within major infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
- Strong technical and engineering knowledge.
- Experience managing engineering teams.
- Excellent planning, communication and organisational skills.
- Valid CSCS card and Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong understanding of construction legislation and health and safety requirements.
