Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, along with proven experience in kitchen management. This role requires a creative individual who can lead a team, maintain high standards of food safety, and deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Duties
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes while adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
* Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
* Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Develop new menu items that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Skills
* Proven supervising experience in a kitchen environment.
* Strong background in food production and preparation techniques.
* Excellent team management skills, fostering a positive work atmosphere.
* Solid culinary experience with a passion for cooking and hospitality.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
* Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership abilities to motivate and inspire the culinary team.

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
