Bar Assistant
Caledonian is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Bar Assistants to join the food and beverage team at the Caledonian Island hotel in the Isle of Wight. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering excellent service, and being part of a lively hospitality environment.
As a Bar Assistant, you will play a key role in providing a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests. You will be a visible and approachable presence within the bar and restaurant areas, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the department.
Key responsibilities include:
* Serving food and drinks in the bar and restaurant areas in line with company standards while delivering excellent customer service.
* Maintaining a visible presence to ensure guest requests are handled in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.
* Confidently upselling products and promoting offers where appropriate.
* Handling cash, card and till procedures accurately in accordance with company policy.
* Supporting colleagues and contributing positively to the smooth running of the bar department.
* Carrying out reasonable requests from management to support the wider hotel operation.
