Job Description
The primary function of this role is to manage the daily operations in the work area, including people, products, and premises. This involves ensuring compliance with company objectives, culture, safety, quality, sustainability policies, plan attainment, yield, waste management, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). The factory teams are empowered to improve key performance indicators.
Pre-requisite Responsibilities
Health & Safety
* Proactive approach to creating a H&S culture within the team
* Support H&S compliance and system management
* Assist SLT in delivering H&S strategy
* Provide a safe and positive environment for colleagues
Food Safety & Quality
* Ensure all products meet Food Safety Regulations
* Maintain compliance with external audit standards (e.g., BRC) and customer specifications
* Proactively manage product quality and good manufacturing practices

* Communicate respectfully and positively with colleagues
* Support colleagues in achieving personal and company goals
* Foster a positive working environment
* Lead with self-awareness, openness to change, and effective communication

Core Responsibilities
Manage all activities in the assigned work area daily to ensure optimal operations, safety, quality, and people management in an inclusive, productive atmosphere. Responsibilities include compliance with company policies, plan attainment, yield, waste reduction, and OEE management. Additional tasks will be delegated by management as required.
