The position is responsible for delivering comprehensive support to Elected Members, working within the Members Services team, as well as assisting teams across Democratic and Legal Services. Key responsibilities include: - Working closely with Councillors. Managing mailboxes. Dealing with enquiries from internal and external customers. Arranging Councillor surgeries. Managing and co-ordinating meeting and appointment schedules including travel arrangements. Formatting a variety of documents. Delivering a high standard customer service. Assisting at events. Minute taking. Filing. Mail handling. Be educated to National 4, SVQ2, or 3 Standard Grades or equivalent. Be assertive, confident, and level-headed when dealing with people at all levels. Possess excellent customer service skills. Have an ability to work to deadlines and under pressure, in a sometimes challenging environment. Be flexible and able to work on your own initiative. I have excellent team working skills Provide attention to detail and be well organised. Provide a confidential approach to work. Possess a good level of IT skills and capable of working a variety of digital applications such as SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Forms. You will be required to attend an interview of around 30 minutes followed by a short skills test.
