Offer description

The position is responsible for delivering comprehensive support to Elected Members, working within the Members Services team, as well as assisting teams across Democratic and Legal Services. Key responsibilities include: - Working closely with Councillors. Managing mailboxes. Dealing with enquiries from internal and external customers. Arranging Councillor surgeries. Managing and co-ordinating meeting and appointment schedules including travel arrangements. Formatting a variety of documents. Delivering a high standard customer service. Assisting at events. Minute taking. Filing. Mail handling. Be educated to National 4, SVQ2, or 3 Standard Grades or equivalent. Be assertive, confident, and level-headed when dealing with people at all levels. Possess excellent customer service skills. Have an ability to work to deadlines and under pressure, in a sometimes challenging environment. Be flexible and able to work on your own initiative. I have excellent team working skills Provide attention to detail and be well organised. Provide a confidential approach to work. Possess a good level of IT skills and capable of working a variety of digital applications such as SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Forms. You will be required to attend an interview of around 30 minutes followed by a short skills test. While the significant part of the role can and will be carried out remotely, candidates should be able to travel to and attend office locations in Fife as required.
