Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving growth within the organisation. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in sales and marketing, who can effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients.
Duties
* Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve company objectives.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, market research, and outreach efforts.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling proposals and presentations that resonate with potential clients.
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
* Utilise Salesforce and other CRM software to track leads, manage client interactions, and report on sales performance.
* Prepare regular reports on business development activities and outcomes for senior management.
Skills
* Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within a similar industry.
* Strong proficiency in Salesforce and CRM software is essential for managing client relationships effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify growth opportunities.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering results.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
