Overview
Controls Engineer – This company designs and manufactures automated machinery and robotic solutions for a range of manufacturing sectors.
Responsibilities
* Write the software for the Omron PLC, HMI, and program the Fanuc robots
* Develop the control systems from the concept stage through to the final detailed stage
* Work with project leader in planning, organising and managing meetings with the customer
* Specify and purchase components
* Assist with the preparation and compiling of manuals
* 37.5 hours per week, early finish Fridays
Requirements
* Proven ability to write PLC software
* Robot programming experience
* Suitably qualified engineer
Package
* £45K - £60K
* 25 days holiday, pension
